Hope you are all doing well. Good new, saltwater fishing is beginning to pick up here on Cape Cod! This week we were able to take a couple charters out on Jax to the artificial reef in Nantucket Sound and over to Buzzards Bay for some Black Seabass and Scup fishing. We had great luck with bucktails and metal jigs but most jigs with Gulp or squid attached are working as well. There are a lot of smaller Seabass that need to be picked through to find the keepers but larger Seabass are definitely in the mix.
With the reefs located only 1-2 miles offshore, Seabass fishing is a great, easy trip to do with family, friends and younger children, they also taste fantastic! If you are interested in a fun activity to get out of the house, we have you covered.
This weeks highlight for Jax Charters was being able to watch clients Ray and Micheal catch their first and largest fish to date! Make sure to give us a call to book your trip today!
Until next week,
